✄ | If she kept going at this rhythm, he imagined she could start crying. She already seemed so tense. And that, certainly, was a vision he didn’t want to see and something he didn’t want to hear. It would be so annoying. And then, he didn’t even want to think of what could be of their relationship later. He wasn’t the one who liked to comfort crying, sad or nervous people either way. He would just have to risk his life and let her do her witchcraft; otherwise, things could be worse.
He didn’t seem very amused or enthusiastic about this, but he really was trying his best. He took her arms calmly, pulling them away from her lips. “Hey, it is fine, Miss Ada… You can do whatever you want to me.” He showed a smile to try to reassure her.
Vincent took some courage and pulled his hair out of his face, revealing a bruise caused by a disturbed woman with a fan. “Will you help me, Miss Ada?”
She’d do her best not to cry, it’d only make her look weak in front of him after all, and she couldn’t be having that! But biting back any tears made her teeth come down on her bottom lip more. Having her arms brought down by Vincent himself, it forced her to look up at him and be met with an agreeable gaze. She blinked in surprise when Vincent agreed to let Ada do something to help him, but then emerald eyes widened seeing the splotch of blue and purple hidden by his bangs. Tentatively bringing her hand up to it, fingers ran over the surface of the bruise and she watched his reaction as she did, seeing if it was tender at all.
A nod was his first answer of course, if he wanted help, then of course Ada would offer it. Bringing her hand back down, she took his in her own and tugged on it so he’d follow.

I know I have some books with remedies in them we can try. Everything’s down in my dungeon. You’re not allergic to anything are you Vincent?
Ada don’t say it like that, you’ll make Vincent nervous.
