Vincent and Ada XD

abietto:

He doesn’t particularly mind the kissing – he has already plenty of experience, with the plenty of girlfriends he had already had at the given point. His hands, instead of taking to her golden locks, went to her waist and slowly and discretely started to go lower. Was she enjoying it? He could as well add some tongue to make it better than only his honey lips.

image

She had to part her lips to allow his tongue any access, but slowly but surely she did so; it allowed the kiss to deepen anyway and the Vessalius was getting caught up in her boyfriend as it is. And to answer the posed question, she wasn’t minding it at all. Her only concern now was the fact that they were still out in the open in the hallway. Too many chances for people to see them. Now she was reluctantly pulling way from Vincent’s lips long enough to glance down away on either side of them a bit worriedly. Someone needs to relax a little bit more.

send me a ღ for a kiss from my muse

And cue the immediate flush on the Vessalius’ cheeks, this should and shouldn’t surprise her; Vincent was the bolder one of the two anyway when it came to physical affection, but still.

(Be brave Ada, it’s only one kiss after all…)

A quick smile just to show that she was at ease for the most part, and a hand came up to gently hold Vincent’s cheek as she stretched up onto her tiptoes to reach him more comfortably.

Three seconds pass, then four, then five, and Ada pulled away gently and hoped her cheeks weren’t too pink that he’d inquire if something was wrong. She just likes kisses to and from Vincent is all. Don’t tell Uncle Oscar.

Vincent Nightray didn’t take too long to get himself ready – fifteen minutes, at the most. A quick shower, then he got dressed and brushed and tied his golden hair down. He thought of braiding it so he would look more handsome to her (Jack had his hair braided, so it’s just natural that braided hair is more beautiful), but alas, he is unfamiliar with the art of braiding hair, and Echo was far away busy with an errand Vincent himself ordered her to do so. Keeping his mane tied down would have to do for the moment. There wasn’t much thought on the clothes he combined, but it seemed to work perfectly nonetheless – and Vincent himself believed that women would like him in whatever clothing he chose. Because it was as simple as that.

While he actually arrived there in time because it was simply socially expected for him to do so, even if he had to wait, there were no expectations at all on having the woman to be on time as well. It had never happened, not once in his whole dating life. The blond brought a book to himself too. Not because he actually planned to read it – to tell you the truth, he has not even read the title of the series he randomly picked up from Elliot’s shelf. Holy Knight, by chance, but it didn’t matter, really. Practically anything he read would make him sleepy. The book is only there to speed the process up and by doing so, making the waiting process less tedious. Hopefully it would take her less than two hours as the table reservations for the restaurant wouldn’t wait that long.

                       Knock            Knock.

It was all ready for her, whenever she got ready. The carried, being pulled by two energetic stunning gypsy vanner mares didn’t seem as it could wait a minute more, though the blond had gone to the date with a lot of patience to wait. But it would be great that she actually got ready in the time, as it would give him more time to go on with his conquering.

As soon as the Nightray was making his initial entrance into the Vessalius manor, Ada’s handmaiden was coming back up to her room to tell her as such. The blonde hadn’t gotten that comfortable and seated with her book, not for that long a time anyway; five minutes at most. Not that she was complaining in the least, far from it. She could read the book whenever she had some free time, a date with Vincent took precedent.

She’d be bounding rather quickly down the stairs, stopping the momentum in plenty of time though that she was merely walking into the foyer, all smiled, composed and collected but still visibly eager nonetheless.

“Hello again. I’m ready whenever you are~”

Ada was excited to see where Vincent decided on for them to do dinner at, but she was more excited about the stargazing if she was going to be honest with herself. Innocent Ada was looking for some alone time where it was just the two of them, uninterrupted conversations, everything. She wouldn’t admit it aloud, but she was hoping perhaps he’d kiss her again. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time that he had, but the feeling she got in her chest when he did, it just brought her further into his web and around his little finger. The Vessalius wasn’t necessarily anxious to hustle through the date, but that was what she was most excited for.

He fell in step besides her as they left the mansion behind. As the other couples vanished from sight, he was suddenly aware that this was the first time he had extended an invitation to walk with a girl, but he didn’t have time to dwell on it for long before she spoke up about her brother. His expression turned serious, but this time it reflected concern rather than anger or frustration. “It must be difficult for your family.” Elliot could tell from her voice that she missed her sibling, and her vague response only raised more questions about his disappearance. However, as brash as he could be at times, he knew not to pry on a topic she didn’t seem eager to speak about.

image

“My parents aren’t as social as your uncle,” He answered truthfully, though he didn’t say that social gatherings were further complicated by the position of the Nightray house in society. Of course, Elliot was more than proud of his family name and would never think to hide it, but in a casual conversation that did not carry the weight of politics, it didn’t seem important to mention. He had always wanted to be approached not as a Nightray, or even a noble, but as an individual.

My siblings and I have been attending in their place. Fred is taking over most of their duties as the next heir. He’s getting married soon, so father will probably make the announcement then.” Little did Elliot know the event would never come to pass, but speaking of it now lightened his mood, and he felt comfortable enough to share the information with her.

For Ada too it was the first time she’d done anything with a boy her own age, but that fact wasn’t particularly on Ada’s mind either. The conversation was still going, not to mention that it was about a topic that was still sensitive to the Vessalius to this day. Though no names had been exchanged yet, and though a part of her didn’t think he knew who she was, an irrational part of her mind had made her think that he did know who she is, so in one respect despite the fact that she wasn’t naming particular names, something made her believe that he understood what she meant.

“I still miss him, my uncle does at well. My mother hasn’t been around since I was born, so it’s just been my uncle and myself most of the time. He’s good to me though, I know he loves me as if I was his own.”

That was good, switching the topic over to Oscar helped bring Ada out of what would’ve been a lowered mood. There were many reasons that family leaders weren’t the most social of people, Oscar was just a rare exception as someone who enjoyed any and all gatherings. She knew the Rainsworth Duchess’ health was occasionally a factor for her absences at gatherings. Zai’s constant absences were for reasons technically unknown to his daughter, though she knew that the man avoided a lot of human contact when he could. The Nightray’s patriarch wasn’t present too often, much like this boy’s parents were. Ada knew some about the Nightray family, but not quite a whole lot. She knew they had several children, but their ages and gender were unknowns to her; no time together had been spent with the children of the two families for obvious reasons, and unfortunately for Elliot and Ada it was showing now. But being the girl that she was, the mention of a wedding in the future perked her interest, and her expression turned to one of curiosity.

image

“Who by chance is your brother marrying? I don’t know of any of the nobles who’re in a serious relationship, it’s been years since I’ve been to a wedding. You’ll be at the ceremony I assume?”

He looked to be about her age, and since Ada knew nothing about him, she wasn’t sure if there’d be something that’d prevent him from being at his brother’s wedding. A doubtful reality, but one could never be sure. But in any case her curiosity was still piqued. Perhaps if the Vessalius’ were invited to the ceremony as well she could meet up with this boy again, have someone her own age to talk to. Ada knew she’d enjoy that prospect and she’d hope the same would go for him as well.

I’M LOOKING AT THE RAWS FOR 87 AND THE ONE PANEL WE SEE ADA IN. THIS IS NOT OKAY THIS IS NEVER OKAY I WANT VINCENT TO COME BACK AND SLAP ZWEI FOR HANDLING ADA LIKE THAT SCREAMS.
